is 9 days post transfer too early to test?

Hi all, I am 9 days post 5 day blastocyst frozen embryo transfer. My test day is Monday but I tested myself today and it was negative, I am absolutely devastated 😢 is it too early to test or is this a true reading? We only got 1 embryo so we have none frozen so would have to start the whole process again, we also used donor sperm which we would also need to reorder! I am 40 next month and just devastated that this might be the end for us 🥺

I think is too early because I tested at the same 9dop and it was negative and I was mad and then I waited till the test day and got BFP now am 23w5days gone now,

So wait and retest on the test date,

Ah thanks so much for your reply, that gives me a bit of hope 🤞huge congrats on your BFP, very exciting 😊 did you have any symptoms during your tww? The tww is just so awful, I'm fine for the first few days and then I just symptom watch 🙈 each time I say I won't test early this time and then I just have myself convinced it has worked!

I had very high appetite for food, cramp, and was feeling like i had Butterfly in my lower abdomen 😀but that happened just 1 day and feverish.

Good luck for the last few days waiting, I cannot imagine how hard it must be. Starting the stims next week and turning 40 in 2 months so I feel the pressure too. But I'm sure if it doesn't work out this time, it's not THE end!

Be brave (sounds better in French ), and keep us posted on Monday.

Hi TwinSi. Oh it's so tempting to test early, but from experience, I would try and leave it until the day recommended by your clinic, The wait is never easy, but you can do it. Thinking of you. Diane

Hey my lovely didn't want to read and run. I would really encourage you to hold off as long as you can for a definite result. I'm not a great example of waiting but know how crushing it was on our first go to see the early test bfp fade to negative by test day. I wish you all the luck and will power in the world!!! xxx

Hi all, so I had my blood test today and it was a BFN 😢 this infertility stuff is so hard 🙈 anyway, time to start again 🤞

I am so sorry to hear that. I know it’s super hard. It’s good you are ready to start again but make sure you take time to yourself to grieve if needed. I made the mistake of not doing that in the past... i think it helps with anxiety for the next go ‘round. 💜❤️💙 wishing all the success in the world !
