Low HCG level at 9day post FET

Hi I am becoming a frequent question asker here, I got a reading of 11 for my hcg on day 9 after procedure, my nurse has said it’s a low positive and I have to test tomorrow. Could this mean my embryo implanted later or has this happened to anyone else?? I have posted on other sites and all they say is to prepare for the worst 🙁

It could well have implanted later! Are they repeating your bloods? My hCG on my first positive was only 43 on day 14 but it climbed nicely. Sadly we lost it due to low progesterone which we only discovered later but it can rise!!xxx

Hi Cinderella5 yeah they are repeating my bloods tomorrow. It will make me 12 days post transfer

It's such a stressful time. Best of luck, hopefully you'll see your levels take a nice jump, they expect them to double every 48-72hrs.xx

They can’t really tell without the 2nd hcg reading to see if it’s rising or not , sadly this happened to me a few times and it never ended well :( I hope that this isn’t the case for you 🤞🏻

I had low HCG levels when I got pregnant after our ICSI cycle - 40 on the first test on day 11, and then it did keep doubling every two to three days so I was really clinging on to hope. Unfortunately it was bad news in the end - when we got to the confirmation scan stage, it was measuring about ten days too small and I ended up having a miscarriage at 8 weeks. The consultant thinks there was something chromosomally wrong with the embryo. I really hope this works out for you, but do be prepared that there's a strong chance it may not. I think realising that something might not be right from the beginning helped me cope emotionally with the miscarriage when it happened - obviously it's still very difficult but if I'd thought everything was fine I think it would have hit me even harder. I really feel for you, it's such a difficult situation to be in xxxx
