There is no normal level! Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Normally clinics have a minimum they like to see for it to be a confirmed positive, I think normally over 50 but other that that there isn’t really a benchmark. They vary so much.
Congrats on your positive, try not to worry too much and I hope your scan date comes around quickly xx
Sounds like a good starting number. There is no right or wrong here and you havent mentioned how many day post transfer you are. hCG varies massively but if the clinic are happy I'd take that as reassurance. All the best.xx
So are you 14dp5dt (technically 19DPO?) - my clinic likes to see over 100 9dp5dt (14DPO) and there are studies which show the best chance of a successful pregnancy is for 100+ at this time so 290 is well in the range
Have a look at betabase for average ranges of hcg levels on each day post ovulation
I assume you are 14dp3/5/6dt (17, 19 or 20 DPO). This would be 5 weeks pregnant. The range used by my clinic is 217 - 7138 (as a comparison, 4 weeks 9.5 - 750, 6 weeks 158 - 31795). All numbers are good within the range. I was usually close to the lower limit and have now a baby boy. Higher numbers are usually for multiple pregnancies.
I had a hcg of 186 at 9dp5dt (4w) and I was having twins by 5w2d it was 10,868 I only had the repeat beta done because I was bleeding , all was good though and their now 16m old (twin boys)
Mine was 950 at 13dp5dt and mine was just a single so they can be quite high even with one! Honestly don’t think the numbers can tell you much but the scan will xx
