Please pm where you have been for DNA fragmentation tests in London. Does this include consultation and advice for any changes / medication if problems are found? I’m so confused these days x

Hey - I’m just worried that this is super expensive and it would be a stab in the dark really because we don’t know 100% that’s the problem ….what did he do for you if you don’t mind me asking? X

We had 2 rounds of failed ivf, our embryos weren't progressing from day 3 to 5. I had done some research and this could be down to dna fragmentation. I had so many tests and scans done but my husband only had a basic sperm test done. We decided to get an appointment with Dr Ramsey to get him thoroughly checked as well. I can't recommend him enough. He diagnosed my husband with dna fragmentation but in his case it was borderline, gave advise of how to improve this. 3 months later I fell pregnant naturally. Might be a coincidence but I think it's worth investigating if you haven't had any tests done.

Can I ask what the kind of pricing is ? My husband also has ED so I think it would be helpful

We paid £280 consultation fee and then the tests were separate. He will discuss with you what tests he thinks you need and how much. This was 2 years ago so the fee might have changed.

Yeah it's not cheap but cheaper than private ivf

Hi we went to examen in belfast our clinic referred us to them , it was 500 for the Dna fragmentation test and they send you the results, which you can then send to your own fertility clinic and they can recommend going forward. For us it was Donor sperm due to the results and all the losses we have had in the last 5 years. I have children from a previous relationship and never suffered any miscarriages, so they knew this was a sperm issue for us now. Im due to start down reg again on the 12th for our next round and hoping this is our chance of a child together after all the heartbreak, my husbands got low concentration, low motility and morphology of 3. But a big indicator for us was every sample hes given the results have got worse, instead of getting better with the supplements he was on. Hope this helps hun and i wish u all the best xx
