Choices for fertility clinics in London?

Hello ladies:

I was referred by my GP for a second opinion on the NHS, after having a a really bad experience at Guy's ACU.

Out of the three choices I have, it's seems a that I can't come to a conclusion on which one I should go for, I have Assisted Conception (ART) at King's Fertility, Reproductive Medicine & Subfertility also at King's College and One Stop Fertility Clinic at UCLH.

I've been googling like crazy trying to understand which one has better success rates or where I can find clearer reviews but it's all a bit uncertain.

I'm reaching out to all of you that had treatment or experiences in any of these 3 options to give me your feedback. Just want to make sure that this time around, I speak to a professional and caring doctor.

Thank you!

Have you looked at the success rates on the HFEA website? This is the most reliable place to compare stats and you can look into their success rates for women similar to you x

Sorry to hear. So far so good but I've not found any doctor yet that seems to have any idea how we feel. They all seem very confused when I cry, I thought that would be a standard appointment for them! Maybe that's why though....

I heard “Yeah, darling, I know. That’s it”... 10 minutes earlier she mentioned her so so “No darling, you don’t know what’s it is like wanting to be a mum and not being able to”.

I’m really upset at all this and the time that I’m wasting.

Oh no, sorry to hear you've had a bad experience at Guys, what happened? We're there now. Had first round cancelled before EC, now waiting to try again. No experience of the other ones unfortunately xxx

Hopefully you won’t have the same experience. I had a really cold doctor, didn’t empathised with us at all and the way she delivered the news was quite demoralising. We’ve also called and emailed more than 10 times, just to request my report (so that I can have different opinions) and we’re still waiting... I’ll probably write a complain.

I wish you all the best and hope you don’t have the same experience xx
