Hi everyone I m new here , mommy to a 1 year old boy☺️ I have had very bad post natal depression along with C section and few issues ...now cannot in my wildest dream think of a second pregnancy although the only thing that m thinking about is to have a sibling for my lil boy

I want to explore other options like surrogacy but dont have much idea how it works in the UK

If someone can please enlighten me about this option like process , cost involved , rights etc I will be forever grateful

Hi, I don’t have any info on surrogacy, but you could look into birth rewind therapy. It is a short counselling program that helps you deal with traumatic birth situations. I haven’t had it, but a very close friend just had it after a second emergency c section under general where both she and her baby nearly died and she had anxiety and depression after. She highly recommends it. Might help you deal with what happened with your first pregnancy and birth before you think about a second baby, whichever way you choose to do that. X
