FET advice

Hi all

I had twins 2 years ago and they are lovely and now I want another so starting my FET. Any advice on what to take prior to the FET ? Any advice ??

Hey 👋🏼 I’m not sure what specific advice you are looking for with regards to FET. Your doctor will come up with a treatment plan and medication based on your circumstances and there are a few different vitamins you can choose to take too if you want to (just google vitamins prior to FET but it’s just the usual prenatal vitamins). One thing I have chosen to do on my next FET is to go for a natural round with little to no meds as my cycles are regular. They didn’t give me this as an option the first time and I have had 3 down reg injections that quite frankly I don’t know that I needed and messed a lot with my hormones! Not sure if you have had a FET before but it’s much easier than a fresh cycle in terms of procedures. Wishing you lots of luck 😊 xx

Thank you ! No my twins were a fresh cycle! With that I did the down reg but this time he wants a natural cycle which is fine .. but I was wondering should I take paracetamol or anything like that ?

It’s not something I have taken what would you be taking the pain killer for? Sorry I’m probably asking a silly question 😂🙈Xx

I had to freeze all last year due to fluid on my internal c-section scar. Started a frozen transfer a couple of months after my op and it was medicated but my body just did not like it at all. I felt so crappy, had horrendous boil type acne (never usually have a pimple) was in pain, bloated, migraines etc & my lining started getting thinner just before transfer so that cycle got cancelled. Second attempt was natural frozen transfer. Was much better on my body but unfortunately didn’t stick. Next attempt was natural again but double transfer. Both stuck but sadly I lost one twin at the beginning of lockdown early in pregnancy. I’m still pregnant with 1 but very anxious as having lots of spotting. My lining was lacking a little at one point so had pomegranate juice every day and this helped a lot. Also Brazil nuts. I am taking baby aspirin but only started this well into pregnancy due to the bleeding 75mg a day xxx
