Estrogen priming protocol & costs

Hi all

I hope you’re all well. I need some advice please.

After my last failed cycle I had a consultation with a new clinic in London. My old clinic wanted to repeat the same short protocol that failed but on a higher dose which I was reluctant to do.

The new consultant suggested that I may now have egg quality issues on top of only having one functioning ovary and recommended a protocol that involves estrogen priming. All sounds great and positive but I’ve just realised the cost for the protocol is astronomical because it involves freezing eggs after collection and then paying for an FET cycle to put embryos back in. I’m looking at £9k-10k.

Any thoughts or first hand experiences of estrogen priming would be welcomed.

Thanking you all in advance
