So I have been taking supplements getting prepped for the last round of IVF. I have endometriosis so I am reading the relevant sections as instructed by that book ‘it starts with an egg’. But I have got really bad migraines and I wonder if the supplements are the cause of these migraines or if it’s stress related. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Hi Samosa17, I also suffer with terrible migraines. I was wondering the same thing. I seem to get migraines worse when I’ve been taking a lot of Iron and supplements. I had a bad migraine for 2 days last week and found out I was having a chemical so I think the headache was due to implantation and the sudden rise in HCG. As if we don’t go through enough already without migraines! I have now just resigned to the fact I’m going to get them because of all the hormones and I guess it’s best to continue the supplements because hopefully the benefits outweigh the horrible headaches.
Hi, i thought we were the only ones. whenever i take pregacare vitamins I always get a migraine but all other pre pregnancy makes are fine, lve tried seven sea, boots and tesco. My husband also said that he got severe headaches as I bought the his and her supplements of pregacare. So we stopped taking them xx
Is it pregnacare?yes my body never agreed with those but a lot of people recommend them they are very big pills aswell to take especially when your pregnant and already feel nauseous
Could I ask what supplements you take I have endo and have introduced a few new vitamins and have been getting headaches more often I have got a fever at the minute though so could be related to that x
I’ve suffered from chronic migraines since I was young (around menstration age). I’ve been on a large amount of fertility boosting supplements for about two years now and have not experienced any increase migraines. If anything, I’ve experienced less of them.
My doctors are pretty sure they are tied to hormonal changes, so keeping mine even and balanced is my goal.
I’ve been using a well-regarded prenatal that I started buying when I was living in the US. But I can also source it in the UK. It’s the Garden of Life Organic Prenatal. It doesn’t upset my stomach (I take with food morning and night) or seem to cause anymore migraines than normal for me.
