I have a low AMH of 3.58 pmol/l ...currently am on a variety of supplements. One of the supplements I have been using is Omnium which has been described on a review page as the steroids of multi vitamins. Anyone had any experience or knowledge using this supplement?

Low AMH and supplements
I’ve never heard of this but as someone with low AMH myself I’m intrigued! ☺️
Hi Ann_.I’m afraid I do not know anything about the medication you have mentioned, but there is also the potential of trying some treatment prior to IVF, by using a drug called Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) which is still in its early days. Women with reduced ovarian reserve who have been given 75 mgs of this drug a day, in divided doses of 25 mgs 3 times a day for around 2 months, been found to respond better to stimulation during IVF. Some consultants will offer treatment with DHEA. You would need to ask and discuss this thoroughly with your consultant to see if he/she agrees with it and also regarding the potential side effects, which are similar to using steroids. A 41 year old lady I spoke with recently who has had treatment with DHEA after several failed attempts at IVF/ICSI, has recently had 8 eggs retrieved after apparently only ever managing 2-3 per cycle. She used it for 2 months. Diane
Oh yes my doctor mentioned DHEA to me but said he has reservations about it. My AMH has reduced in the last year by half and my last cycle only got 9 eggs from the right side while the left didn't respond. I am absolutely petrified about the upcoming cycle
Hi. I’m sure you are, but you still have a little something to work with,so fingers crossed you get a few decent eggs. Thinking of you. Diane
