appointment cancelled...

Had a letter today saying that our appointment on the 18th Jan has been cancelled cos the consultant is on holiday this was booked in november. we are currently living in france for the winter and we have booked flights ,my partner has called up and complained they also said we need to attend another info session but we have attented them twice now

we did a frozen cycle last year with out last embryo but it failed so we are going for a full cycle again and finding out they cancelled on us is just so unprofessional and then they state as we are self funding the appointment can be changed at any point xx

oh it's a pity hon. but don't be upset, do you have a new date for your appointment? such things happen now and then, I'm sure they didn't mean to hurt you, although it's really unprofessional. what clinic is this?

they re booked us for Feb but we cant do then and as were currently living in france for the winter we have paid a fortune in flights to go back, we have put a complaint in as its not the first time this has happended to us

there attitude to my partner was well this is how it is we have asked for a manager to call us back.

gosh, what a shame to act like that not even for the first time. are you sure you want to sign with this clinic? if they're going to treat you like this it may not give any result.

Aw that's so disappointing I can understand why you would be so upset, it's not fair at all especially this being quite short notice. I hope you get your new dates through soon and fell much better about things x x x

If you're self funding can you just try to book an appointment at a different clinic to fit in with your flights?

It doesn't sound like this place is that reliable anyway.

I agree completely with cyantist-I would look into other clinics. I think it's such bad practice. And very unprofessional.

it needs no saying, how people could be so rude and not serious. I agree with all girls you should think about changing the clinic.. there are a lot of them// btw, where are you from if that is not a secret?
