Hi guys feel a little bit lost at the moment i had my bfn in March from my first cycle with none to freeze. Spoke to the nurses about my result then nothing no discussion with the consultant about the cycle.

Whays everyone elses experiences been ?

Is that how its supposed to happen ?

Sorry it didn’t work this time. You should be able to ask for a follow up with your consultant to discuss the protocol and what changes they would make for the next round etc. Good luck x

I had my bfn on my first fresh ICSI back in Mar2017 (none to freeze either), only NHS funded round.

Felt like we had hit a wall and there was no hope. We went for a follow up appointment with a consultant who just advised it was essentially down to luck and they would change my meds second time round. We had to save hard & went back for a second fresh ICSI in Nov2017 with different meds, this also ended in a BFN but we had 7 embryos to freeze! Went back in Mar2018 for a medicated frozen embryo cycle with 2 of the 7 embryos & got our first ever BFP, baby girl born 14th December 2018! We still have 5 frozen embryos left so every cycle is different! Don’t ever give up hope!! X

thanks so mich this gives me hope its amazing you got so many to freeze and have that you have a baby girl. I ramained positive the whole way through and thouht we might be lucky enough for it to work first time. im going to ring rhe clinic and ask them for a follow up
