Is this normal or should I be worried?

My period is due on Sunday, I had my first failed IVF in February and I have had a couple of normal periods since then even if they were a few days late. Since Tuesday past my stomach was making weird gurgling noises all day then at 10pm on Tuesday night I got hit with really bad abdo cramps and diarrhoea, this lasted for a few hours and left me feeling rubbish so I stayed off work wed/thur/fri by yesterday I felt fine and was back to eating normally and doing normal things. During the night again last night, I got cramps and again this morning, have been hit with diarrhoea, why would I get it twice in one week, is this normal? The only thing I do different is take pregnacare pre conception and sometimes I have even been forgetting to do this. Thanks for reading.
