Is this normal?

I had my first FET transfer on Thursday and all went fine with thaw and procedure. However, I have basically had a migraine since Thursday night and nothing I do is shifting it. Is this to be expected or should I contact clinic? I’m on prognova, cyclogest and Lubion.

I had exactly this symptom when my transfer worked. Out of 3 transfers. Hopefully it’s the same for you. X

Thanks so much for the reply. Did it last the whole time or could you do anything to get rid of the headaches? 😩

I didn’t want to take any painkillers and it only lasted 3-4 days. Good luck!!

I've had regular migraines for the last couple of months, I'm 17 weeks now. Paracetamol is completely safe to take but it would only take the edge off for me. Migraines are horrible!!

I get headaches with the progesterone supplements, it just down to changing hormone levels. You can safely take paracetamol. Don't take ibuprofen or anything stronger though.I hope you feel better soon, it's horrible to add migraines to all the stress and discomfort. Speak to the clinic if you're worried. Fingers crossed for you sweetie 🤞

I got headaches with the progesterone. Didn’t take tablets, just upped my water intake. It went away after introducing oestrogen as the levels readjusted. Good luck 🍀

progesterone causes the headaches for me and progynova doesn’t help so I swapped mine to evening (I was on 4 a day all at once) so I could sleep it off. Paracetamol is all you can take but water really helps more for me. Good luck for test day xxxx

I had something similar and used 4head stick. Can get it at most pharmacies and it’s a natural alternative. Like menthol which cools the head, did wonders for me.

I'd never used one of these but just got one today for a sinus headache and it's really helped! Thank you!
