Is this bleeding normal?

Hi guys. So today marks week 7 for me (hopefully). I've been getting cramps and spotting here and there and not worrying too badly (or trying not to). But today I've had some thin stringy brown clot like things. Just small thin strands. Is this normal? We've still got a week to go til our scan

Hey hun i had 2 massive bleeds at 5 wks then at 7wks lucky it turned out to be nothing to worry abt. I'm currently 9.6 wks if I was you I'd got to A&E just to make sure. I don't think I could wait a week to find out. Hope all works out OK for you.

I have always been told brown blood is nothing to worry about x

Are you using progesterone? This can cause a little irritation which is why you might be spotting. Nothing to worry about. But go to A&E if your not sure Xx

Hi KittyK, I am nearly 7 weeks and had the brown stringy stuff at 3 weeks after some implantation bleeding. My clinic said it was nothing to worry about and not to panic unless there was red blood with cramping. I also looked online and the brown stringy stuff seems to be quite common.

Thank you ladies. I rang the clinic out of hours number. They said basically my scan is next week and unless it's heavy red bleeding and intense cramping not to worry. They also basically hinted that there's nothing anyone can do anyway - nice >__< just gotta hope I've just got a burrowing embryo or two causing all this mischief and try to chill until the 3rd!
