Hello Can anyone tell me if you have a fet and you get a positive. What medication do you need and when till? I’m on pessaries morning and night and clexane every second day and aspirin. Is it just the same medication you had in the two week wait that continues? What tests etc did u need to get in the first 12 weeks? I’m abroad and hopefully getting transfer on Monday I’m just thinking about what will happen when I go home to the uk 🤔 xxx

Hi, it should all be in your protocol Hun? Mine says what to do if the test is positive / negative. But yes the same as the 2WW I think. My clinics have always made sure I have enough in case of a positive test. All I had in the first 12 weeks was a viability scan but you also need to register with a midwife so your GP surgery can help, they’ll book an appointment for you. xx
Hi Boo718,
Just to echo what Libsie said, your clinic should tell you what meds you need and how long to take them but most clinics will keep you on them for 12 weeks if test is positive.
It might be worth asking for the 12 week supply before you fly back, just with the current state of things it might be the safest bet.
Good luck with your transfer!xx
Hi lovely. My clinic haven't told me, but I imagine I will continue the cyclogest pessaries, clexane, and aspirin just like now. I have asked for a prescription (script) so that I can take that to a pharmacy in case my clinic closes (which I assume it will). I don't want to buy all those extra drugs now, but you might want to if you're needing to get them abroad or have trouble converting a foreign prescription in to a UK one...
