Yay baseline scan day today! It went fine. We saw our favourite nurse, so that was nice. Just mildly concerned as they had me on Norethisterone for "batching" as they termed it (lining all their clients up to the same timetable) and I haven't had my period yet. They need me to have my period before Friday (kind of running out of time!). Maybe they shouldn't have asked me to stay on it for two days longer than my schedule? Anyway, holding out hope it comes tomorrow.
Was strange going to the clinic as they clearly have a different system going on now. The car park was full and we had to wait around half an hour to be seen. A much different experience to a year ago.
ANYWAY, super happy to be getting started with this round of IVF! Baby here we come!!! (PLEEEEEEEASE)

Ahhhh. I stopped Sunday evening. My schedule had it down for Friday, but they then emailed me 5pm Friday to say to continue it to Sunday. And they were closed (obviously) so I couldn't contact them. I found it so stressful! Expecting I will come on tomorrow.
Yay wishing you all the best for this round. I’m starting Norethisterone in late March/April and baseline scan later in April. Is it then you start on injections? I keep thinking I should be on some drugs now but only taking folic acid and vitamin D. Thanks for any advice xx
I am starting my injections on Friday! Looking forward to it (in the only way you can in IVF). Folic acid and Vit D are the most important things to be taking!
I’m going to be just behind you by a couple of weeks. My nurse told me to contact them if I don’t have a bleed and they can give me something to bring it on .... hopefully yours will be here soon . Sure, it’s still just Wednesday afternoon . 😘💖💐delighted to hear you’ve got the hope of your next cycle 😘
Ps my clinic seems majorly busy too! But this last visit was quiet as I think because of our timescale with the nhs turn coming quickly the clinic has no choice but to run with my cycle now.
I try and remind myself that this is a growing market and all these clinics are going to get busier, but worryingly Bourn Hall where we are has had growing business and sales, but declining numbers of staff. Super worrying!
Really happy to be starting our next cycle. That's good to know they have something that can bring it on if needed.. Drugs! And we were always told they were bad! 😛
