Hi ladies, new here and also on my first cycle of ivf, day 2 of taking the menopur injections, I’m only 22 but I feel like I’m all over the place, not usually emotional during my time of the month? Could it be the injections? Any advice appreciated xx

It will be Absolutley a big factor think of the drugs and hormones being put in your body and we are already hyper sensitive from just being on this journey. Your not alone, don’t worry. Xx

This is a very emotional journey and the hormones being injected in to you will screw with your emotions even more! I have never cried so much as being on IVF and have felt absolutely crazy at times! xxxx

Hi Khess. It is a very stressful and emotional time going through any fertility treatment, plus the side effects of the drugs can make you feel dreadful. Make sure you drink plenty of water when taking your meds, as they work on your pituitary gland in the brain, and extra water can help. Do take up any offers of counselling as you go through your treatment cycle for extra support. Good luck! Diane

Hi. There is a charity called the "British Infertility Counselling Association" there is a charge and you have to access them online at bica.net they deal with all aspects of fertility and relationships while going through investigations and treatment. Have a look and see what you think. Diane

100% its soooo difficult, the meds play havoc and then there's all the hope and worry and what ifs you go through as well!

I am on day 5 of stims, I nearly cried at a song on the radio this morning that has zero meaning for me just sounded really sad, and nearly left my partner yesterday because he was just SO irritating and actually I don't think he was doing anything - just being him 🙈- I couldn't stand the sight of him 😂

You soon get used to it, rest up a lot, look after yourself, loads of water and you will be fine - you can do this!

Masses of luck for your cycle xx
