Stim injections - day 7... feel like nothing is happening!

Hi ladies,

I was just hoping for a bit of advice or reassurance 😀 I started on Meriofert last weds and so far I’ve not had any side effects. I can’t really feel anything working and wondered if that was normal!? I have my scan on Saturday and if all is well the egg retrieval on Monday but I’m petrified they’ll scan and say I’ve not responded ☹️ Anyone else had similar?

Ah that’s good that they are developing as they should! I’m on 3 of the little bottles - 225ml I think. I’ve had the odd twinge but I was expecting more ha. Maybe they’re just growing nicely 😊 hope everything goes well for you xxx

No, they didn’t scan me - just said to start 2nd injections last Sunday and then only scan is this Saturday! I’ll let you know how it goes xx

I am stimming at the moment too and also don’t feel like much is happening. Thought I’d be a lot more bloated. But it’s def working, had a scan yesterday and follicles growing. Good luck with your scan x

It’s so hard with stims because ya literally have no clue what is going on in there! Keep the positive vibes flowing . You are doing everything you can 😘💖💐 sending love and hugs of understanding 😘💖💐

I felt nothing through all my stims right the way through, other than some bloating at the end. Normal to worry that nothing is happening 😊

Ah thank you! I’ll try and relax now 😊 I was just expecting apple sized ovaries or something I think haha xx

I think Meriofert is good...can hardly tell until the end with bloating.

I didn't have any symptoms until the last couple of days, and my ovaries were so big they were touching! You'll probably be pleasantly surprised at your scan. And if you need a few more days of stims they can move your collection back a few days.

Thank you! Gosh our bodies are amazing aren’t they really. I’m reassured to know that other people haven’t felt much but still have had positive results regarding the stim phase. I have another 3 nights to go!! Hoping for egg collection next Monday... which is another thing I’m super nervous about but I’ll cross that bridge Monday!! 🙈 xx
