Day 7 stim scan and treats for 2ww?

Hi all,

Had my day 7 scan while stimming today- I’m on a low dose due to my age and I was worried the dose wouldn’t be high enough so they gave me an additional scan.

Great news- my lining is already 9mm thick, and I have about 13 sacs growing nicely, all of which will hopefully contain an egg! So relieved!

Thinking ahead to 2ww...what nice things have you booked to look forward to short-term rather than focusing on that end goal? Facials booked ♥️

I’ve got my day 7 stim scan tomorrow. Hope I get similar news! Got a holiday booked at the end of the two-week wait. It wasn’t planned that way, just happened!

Hi Rach, it went OK. I’ve got a lot of follicles of varying sizes. 25 in total, so they are reducing my dose. I have a cyst in each ovary, but they aren’t worried about those. They also saw what could be a polyp in my endometrial lining, and if that doesn’t go away by egg collection, then I will have to freeze all embryos, get a hysteroscopy and then do a frozen transfer at a later date. I was diagnosed with a suspected polyp back in February which then disappeared after my next period, so fingers crossed the same happens with this one.

Am feeling OK. A little bloated. How about you? I had a bit of bleeding on Wed night which was worrying but nothing since. Feeling a bit disappointed that I might not get to embryo transfer stage, but have to wait and see, I guess. I think I’ll be having egg collection on Monday. Do you know when yours will be? X

Ah that’s brilliant news! We planned a couple of meals out and just went on a few walks. Nothing major as il be honest I was quite tired and enjoyed an afternoon nap or 2 😂 xx
