7 day Stim Scan- is this good compared with others’ experiences

Morning all, I’ve been for my 7 day scan which I was really nervous about.

She said womb lining is looking good which is also a good sign that the body is reacting.

I have 5 follicles on my left ovary, 1 measuring at 14mm and one at 10mm. The rest are below 10mm

I have 13 follicles in my right, one measuring 11mm and the rest below 10mm

I think they all need to be bigger by collection day but she said I’m exactly where they would expect by day 7 scan. Have another scan on Friday morning.

I’m not sure how to feel, did anyone else track similarly on day 7?

Hello, I also just had my 7 day scan this morning. I have 19 follicles in total. One 17mm, 14mm and 13mm follicles, with the rest under 10mm, so not too different to you. I also have no clue what it’s “supposed” to be but I guess everyone will be different. The clinic also said I’m where I should be and all is on track so doing my best just to trust in that (although of course the anxiety in me tells me I should expect more and bigger follicles?!). Is your clinic also taking bloods at every scan?

Thanks for the reply! Yes we seem to be tracking really similarly. I’m the same I feel like more and bigger = better but yeah I guess we have to trust that if they had concerns they’d be changing medication etc.

No I’m not having any additional bloods taken on either scan. Are you? Xx

That is really good news re numbers. I think the best thing abt it is that everything is growing evenly so they can stim you accordingly and you will get a good number! At day 7 i had a dominant follicle and the others were so mixed in terms if size. So wel done! Xx
