Microgynon

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had this experience too. I’m due to start IVF treatment soon, I started taking Microgynon on 7/2/20 and will take the last one on 20/2.

I assume after that I start the injections. I am going to get my schedule on 11/2 at my fertility clinic.

Yes i did it like that. Carried on with the pill for about two more days after starting DR

Hi emmab178 thank you for your reply. What stage are you on now? I’m really excited as we have been TTC for a lonnnnng time.

Got my bfn last week. Now on the period from hell as the cherry on top.

Hello. It is a good feeling to actually get started. I am currently taking Microgynon. I have to stop on Thurs 13th Feb (after 21 days) and will start Buserelin (down reg) injections on Friday 14th. I go back on 20th for a scan to check progress and decide if body is ready for stimulation.

I am not sure if I should expect a period whilst on Buserelin ... I forgot to ask!

Hiya Dinah_lady thank you got your reply. It’s good to hear from others going through a similar process. I wish all the best in your cycle. I’m taking my Microgynon til 20/2, my schedule appointment in next Tuesday 11/2 so I should know more info as to what next after Microgynon.

I have so many questions too but I will ask the nurse next week.

Hi hun how are you getting on? I’m on Menopur injections one and half ampoules to one water in the evening (I was taking 3 ampoules and after my scan it was reduced to one and a half) and Cetrotide in the morning.

I have another blood test and scan this Friday 6/3 and hopefully egg retrieval next week
