how Big is it and is it growing through the womb or on it . All makes a difrence but loads of woaman get pregnant with them and loose the fibroid in childbirth xx

I wasn’t trying for a baby when I had it but I wanted to preserve my firtility . The best bet is to have a partial removal ie they shave off part of it sealing it with an hot instrument and they go so they don’t have to risk going through the womb then try for your baby . Eventually I had to have my fibroid removed totally ie they took the root and all out they had to go through my womb to do that sealing has they went best thing I ever had done for my own health but if I had of tried for kid after there was a chance the womb wouldn’t of been weaker in my opinion . I had a really good sergeon called furugea .he assured me that my womb was safe to have a baby has it had healed well anyway but I then split from my boyfriend so didn’t the chance now my periods have stoped and we’re back together.sods law in happened in that order . So if you want to try for a baby now have partial removal have your baby the fibroid should come away with placenta If you have a baby. My fibroid was on the side though so I could of still got pregnant with the fibroid but I beleave if it’s at the bottom of the womb it could prevent you getting pregnant naturally so allways go with the professionals advise but it’s good to get some advise on here too . Let me no what your specialist sergests

When they shaved it. Was overnight on hospital or same day.

Your only in theatre 20 mins usually but a few hrs recovering from anethetic usually out same day unless there’s complications then they would keep you has long has they need to . They usually go in through the vergina and shave of the inside of fibroid if they think it’s a problem . The outside bit they may not operate on has that’s more difficult to get too fifty and hoping

Most of the time I was in out same day unless there’s other issues with your heath ie like your in the menapause and are seeing you period more often then one episode a month anyway etc x fifty and hoping x
