Hi, I had the egg transfer on Friday, it didn't go exactly to plan as the womb was in a difficult position so the procedure hurt. It's a natural cycle so no drugs.
Today I am in pain and bloated. I didn't expect any symptoms as not on medication. Anyone had experience of this? I am really worried. 🙁
Hi Raindrops, afraid I can't help you much as I haven't been through this😣 I've only had one ET and it's medicated so bloating very much the norm. If the pain remains despite paracetamol I'd definitely call your clinic - if only to get reassurance. Your ET sounds pretty unpleasant so its probably just your poor body recovering. But if in any doubt, ask an expert. Hope it all goes well xx
Hi I had a natural cycle this time round no medication. Already had a frozen embryo so had that transferred yesterday. Today I have had cramps/slight pain in my lower stomach.xx
Hi, thanks for your reply. I have had cramps for about a week. I also spotting and headaches. I thought all week I was going to come one as my belly was bloated and sore (and still is) , but we did a test and though my official day is tomorrow for testing we got a positive. It is worth noting I did a test on day 5 and that was negative so true what they say about not doing it early.
Of course it is still very early days and scary but I would never have thought this was signs of it being successful. I know everyone is different.
Awwww made up for you that you got your BFP. I’ve read that a lot of people start getting cramps etc a few days after transfer, but mine have been from the very next day after transfer. I had a very small amount of spotting when wiping yesterday I’m just anxious everytime I go the toilet xx
I was exactly the same and first day was in pain. I was convinced by all the symptoms it was going to be negative.
Last time I had a fresh transfer straight after the egg transfer etc so that time thought I was pregnant but bleed after a few days.
I just think its hard to know when your already so stressed with the process. I was also really stressed at work so shows stress had little to do with it. xxx
That’s the same as me! I got a BFP with my first cycle which was medicated then 2 weeks later I started bleeding and it was over. This time I feel quite achy like a period I guess but like you said you can’t look too much into it. The only thing that’s making me stay positive is the early hatching which is a good sign for implantation to happen but my test day isn’t until Feb 19th xx
