I had my fresh transfer a week ago and I didn’t even realise the catheter was in, completely painless.
I had some mild cramping on day 3 and day 4 then nothing, then over the last two days have had a small amount of mild cramp again and just feel like I’m about to come on. We didn’t have any to freeze so this one embryo is our only shot and I just keep crying thinking it’s all over. Another week to go for me until test day but I get the feeling I won’t make it that far before my body lets me know I’m not pregnant.
So happy it went smoothly for you despite your hubby waffling on 😂
They do normally show you it on a screen, maybe it wasn’t working today or something but it doesn’t affect anything so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 you’re on your way to a BFP xx

You are PUPO, yay ! People recommend watching comedies and having a good old giggle after transfer and it’s totally a good idea to keep your mind occupied over your TWW.

Yes I think so! Just like a more uncomfortable and longer smear 😂 I'd expected a crowd of people in there, as some ladies report lots of staff 😨 But just the doctor, a nurse doing an ultrasound to guide him, and the embryologist. Had both of the more developed blasts put back in the end 💞 : hope that was the right choice 😓 Hope you get a better night of sleep tonight xx
I ended up with a nurse and consultant . The embryologist was through a window in the wall in the lab 🔬 not as bad as my mind had imagined . Uncomfortable and long indeed! The clamp thing took a tug to get out but was fab after it had been taken out 🙈😆😁 A double good luck to you then 💐💐🎉🎉🤩🤩👌🏻👌🏻💖💖 May we all sleep well tonight 😘
Not bad, this is my second transfer now. Thought it was pretty bad the first time (Drank too much so was tensing up so I didnt wer myself which then hurt my cervix which then refused to let go of the speculum 😂😂😂🙈) but I drank just 500mls this time and was fine, little uncomfortable but done in a few minutes. Worst bit for me is having a light shining on my floo with people staring at it 😂😂
Yeah... I'd read about that but it all seemed so ludicrously undignified that I started laughing and then had to pinch myself 😂 It wasn't bad otherwise. I did to see the spot on the screen where doctor put them 😍 surreal! xx
I was trying not to laugh true to sheer awkwardness 😂 I laugh in all and every situation that I'm uncomfortable 😂 yeah its fascinating to see the fluid containg the embryo enter the womb
Well done lovely and all the best for the 2ww I know it's the worst wait ever, but try and keep occupied! We watched the film prisoners on netflix the other night 😱 and 2nd series of the sinner..both a bit dark but good! Xx
Hey I had my first (fresh) transfer on Saturday. My transfer was over an hour after the appointment time so I was bursting for the loo!! I didn’t really feel anything but that might be because I was concentrating on not peeing so much 🙈ha!

Mmmm mine just seemed odd as I’d googled the life out of what it would be like and watched two videos of actual transfers. 🤷🏼♀️ time to get on with this waiting business 🤣🎉 how are you? Do you just feel normal too?
Well I had some cramps the first two days but now I just feel normal. I had heard it described as like a smear test so that’s what I was expecting. My consultant did a dry run first and then repeated it with the embryo.
Are you on progesterone too? I’m on two cyclogest pessaries and two lubion injections a day.
My man was in and out and said it had gone very straight forward 🙈 wish I had his confidence . I’m taking 3 estrogen tablets a day and 2 progesterone gels (1 morning and 1 night) . Haven’t had any bloods etc , think it’s just how my clinic do it.
Were you told to rest or roam about ? My husband thinks I should be up and running around as normal.

Yeah I never had any bloods either so it must just be what my clinic do too. I got told not to do any exercise, and to take it easy but not to lie in bed for days on end....
So I guess somewhere in the middle I’ve been taking it easy but I’m back to with tomorrow and I rarely get to sit down. Xx
I really should have asked where was the screen ?!?!? 📺 but the consultant had me clamped up and embryo fired in within minutes. All the while, my husband and him had a great chat ! ( I wanted them to shut up and focus on me 💃🏼 😈) my clinic isn’t into sentimentality like me 🤣
😂 we always get asked if we want a screen when we chat with the embryologist before we go into the theatre. I guess at least there was no pain and it was down quickly xx
