Has anyone had a 6 week scan?

Has anyone had a scan at 6 weeks? Could they see much? I have one on weds il be 6+1 just wondering what il see x

Hey mrs we go for scan tomorrow too at 7 weeks 4 days. Clinic told us we might not see a heartbeat but that is normal. I am so hoping we do as am an anxious mess...good luck for tomorrow xx

thanks hun ..we were tempted with an earlier scan bit hung out..if all ok we going to book a 10 week one as anxiety is torturous xx

Hi,

I had a scan at what I thought was 5+6 (although my dates were slightly out and I was actually only 5+3) and there really wasn’t much to see. I had another scan 2 weeks later, and this time we saw the heartbeat. It’s incredible how much difference 2 weeks can make. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see much so early on, at this stage even just a few days can make a difference.

I had a scan at 6+4. We could see the baby (they look like a shrimp at this point, no joke!) And we could also see the heartbeat. At my private scan they tried to do it externally but couldn't find anything. I asked them to try internally. Be aware of that just in case you have the same. I think NHS would automatically do an internal scan but private may not. Hope it all goes well x

I had a 6+3 and we saw the heartbeat 💗 it was amazing. They did warn us beforehand that it may be too early though xx

Thanks girls, am so nervous now thinking about tomorow the appointment is in the afternoon wish it was at 9am instead lol I only booked it because I got paranoid about ectopic pregnancy because I keep getting pains in my left side am hoping everything will be ok, it's so nerve wrecking xx

Scan went good could see the wee heart beat and everything is going as it should so I am over the moon xx

This is great news - we have our first scan Friday and I'll be 6 weeks exactly and praying we see baby and heartbeat

I measured 5+5 today so it was 3 days difference but she said that's normal and everything is still ok,it's really really tiny but could see the wee fluttering heart beat, I have my normal 7 week scan with my clinic next weds can't wait to see the difference, hope all goes well for u xx

Oh that's given me even more hope that we'll see the heartbeat. We've had some scares this week so I just need to see our baby. Our clinic scan isn't until the 27th

They couldn't measure the heartbeat or anything as it was so tiny but could see it flickering clear as day it was a regular ltrasound I think more would of been seen with an internal but I think the clinic will do an internal xx
