Hi Rainbowhope. I would go for pessaries with Lubion top up - my thoughts of course. Good luck! Diane

Hi Rainbowhope, my clini have me on cyclogest pessaries with a lubion top up ever 48hrs which seems to do the trick for me. I think the lentogest are pretty effective but these are usually intramuscular and lubion isnt so easier and less painful to administer.....though check that with your clinic. Does your clinic plan to check your levels to see they are ok prior to transfer so you can adjust dose etc?xx

Hi Cinders. My clinic have put up a real battle when it comes to testing before hand. Something about the progestrone in your blood isn't an indication of progestrone in your uterus.

Would they test you if you paid for it? If not then just up your dose. Ive heard of other people been giving this excuse too! However I am of the belief that it may not show the level in your uterus but there must be a minimum that shows in bloods. Other clinics seem to believe in progesterone being a certain level for implantation so there has to be something in it. Its really frustrating that we get written off for stuff like this. I had an issue with bleeding early in my NHS cycles and got told it wasnt possible for my levels to be too low. But with my private clinic my doseage was increased and guess what....no bleeding! I did discover after a loss and a CP that my levels were too low to sustain pregnancy hence why I got moved onto injections and cyclogest. We all absorb meds differently and I have a history of not absorbing meds well so it may not be everyone but my clinic believe that for IVF a minimum of 60nmol/l is what progesterone levels should be at tranfser and we achieved this with the new protocol. Still didnt get a BFP on last cycle but Ive since discovered I have a displaced implantation window which is fairly uncommon too.xx
