Random - pineapple pins

Hello community. Random post, but I read IVF Babble (online fertility newsletter) and it's always banging on about these pineapple pins that they sell. Profits go to the Fertility Network UK (great), and they are worn to show your support of fertility issues, and to raise awareness. I was thinking of getting one, and I was just wondering if anyone on here wears one, and also if I really want to draw attention to myself at work, out and about etc. as having fertility issues. Any thoughts?

I have a little pineapple bracelet that I wear for luck that I bought when I got my first BFP and put in on after Ive transferred now....silly ritual I know but cant stop now. Ha ha ha Nobody seems to know what pineapples mean unless they work in the field or have been through the mill themselves.xx

Good point. It's only an advert of infertility to a very select group of people!!

I’ve been given one by my clinic and a password for 3 months free access I haven’t used it yet or worn the pin badge I’m still deciding where to put it! X

Hubby and I have the pins and we both wear ours out on our coats all the time; people comment on how cute they are but so far no one has asked what it’s for/what it means! (We’ve worn them for 2 years!) x

It's good to know that others have them. Thanks!

We wear poppies, pink ribbons etc.; why not get the message out about infertility as well! Hopefully it will start some conversations, but if not, at least it will let another person going through infertility know they're not alone.
