My husband and I have had fertility tests and are currently waiting for an appointment at the hospital to discuss the results and next steps in mid January. My husband was told by the GP that both of his semen analysis contained debris. I was wondering if anyone had been given a similar result and had any information on what this means? Apparently it causes his count to be low? I know we'll get more info at the hospital but it's so hard to wait.
Thanks.

Hey there! I hope you are doing well. So you have both gone for tests. That is great, you will be able to tackle the real problem now. If the amount of cellular debris is low then it can be ignored, but if it's high then it can be bad. Either way, ask your doctor about it. He will guide you on what treatment is best for you. You will have to be patient. Don't overthink and stress over it. I just hope things go well for you. Good luck. Stay blessed. Take care. Bye!
Hi, thanks for your reply. This was my first post to the forum, it's nice to hear advice from others and just to have a place to write what you're feeling so your comments are very much appreciated. Thanks 🙂
Hi there! How are you? I hope you are doing fine. Girl you really need to calm down. Stress is not a good thing for you right now. Maybe the percentage is not that high, if it's low then its not going to be a problem. Just keep calm and wait till you meet the doctor. That doctor will help you out. It's not easy to conceive nowadays because of unhealthy lifestyle. A lifestyle change can bring a lot of good things in your life. Patience is the key to success in this journey. I became a mother after struggling for 10 years. So just relax. Everything will be fine. Good luck. Take care. Bye!
Hi Wildfire. How are you dear? You have nothing to worry about. Nowadays the alternatives are so successful. So don't think that if something is wrong, you won't be able to become a mother. Nothing can stop you from becoming a mother except God. I will pray that things go well for you and the reports are clear. But to make positive things happen, you will have to first think positive. This journey is like a roller coaster so you can't lose yourself on every small detail like this. You have to be strong. Just take good care of yourself. And always keep your expectations low to avoid disappointments. Goodluck. Goodbye!
Hey wildflower. It's easy for people to say don't worry but we all do. I don't have anything knowledgeable to add about what you have asked. But don't beat yourself up for worrying about it. The whole journey is difficult no matter what stage you are at. Hopefully your appointment in January will bring some answers for you and set about a plan of action. Hope you have a lovely Christmas xxx sending lots of love
Hello. Thank you for your lovely reply. Yes, trying not to worry is definitely easier said than done! I'm hoping that joining this forum will allow me to share and take some of the stress away. Merry Christmas, hope you have a lovely day x
Hi lovely, welcome to the forum. It’s a wealth of knowledge and support, but remember that everyone’s case is different and sometimes the answers aren’t specific to you. However science is amazing and the doctors can do incredible things, even when it seems most unlikely. Take your time, read up and don’t rush in to anything. Have a lovely Christmas and look forward to getting more info from the doctors in the new year. Xxx
