Male fertility study - Hammersmith hospital

Hi Everyone. Wanted to make you aware of a study that’s taking place at Hammersmith hospital in London looking at male infertility. Your other half will get the DNA fragmentation study for free, plus some other tests. It’s great that the NHS are starting to look into this more seriously.

My husband went along, it’s a one hour appointment. I know the Doctor is struggling to get enough men to take part which is a real shame.

The female needs to have regular periods and you need to have had the tests to check your tubes are open.

Send your other half along if you want to find out a bit more about his fertility and want to save some money on tests the NHS don’t currently offer!

Email tharu.tharakan@nhs.net to find out more!

Lol sorry I saw it right after I posted. We’ve not had the dna results back yet, he said he needs more samples to be able to send them away in bulk!

We’ve had 3 Comet tests done separately! He was hoping to have the trial done by November, such a shame!
