Hi ladies my 3rd attempt has failed only 1 egg and bad grade c which they cannot transfer. Only option donor egg.
Can any ladies who have become mother from donor eggs please tell me the outcome? What did your baby look lile did it resemble mother and will the baby be mine?
Doctors say 50 per cemt genetics is from the other woman which is dna?

My donor cycle went very bad
Had eight embryo blastocyts in freezer but during transfer only two were viable that also 3AB grade and other one was 4AA grade and remaining were poor embryos.
Transferred both embryo but bfn and nothing left in freezer .....
Was not sad for that as I was going through my dad's death ceremony in Nov 2019 during my tww .
And now m numb and lost interest in everything esp in ivf...so here I am ...holding my broken heart for my dad's passing and have no space left for fet failure sadness....
I don't mean to discourage you but keep trying everything n anything possible as long as you have the mood,money ,strength and interest .
And I bliv as long as you have the interest miracle do happen...
I am so so sorry about your father and failure in ivf. Its my 3rd failed attempt. I have no choice but to do donor egg so cant give up. Im depressed at the moment and finished so need to build strength to carry on. Xxx it will happen for us I pray to god. Xxx
Hi there! I am so sorry for your egg retrieval. I can understand how tough this is for you. Using donor eggs is a great idea, so the baby will be yours but we can't say if it will resemble you or the donor. It depends on luck mostly. Just like your doctors said, its 50/50. If you are not willing to take the risk of trying it all over again then just go for donor eggs. It will help you become a mother, what more do you want? I will go for this procedure and eat my ego a bit now, I have been told the child will not have my DNA but everything else will take from me. I have accepted now this is my route, I am nearly 40 so dont want to keep wasting time. xxx thank you so much.
Hi there! How are you? I hope things get better for you. It's so hard to deal with these things. First infertility and then when you try for alternatives, things go sideways. If donor is only option then close your eyes and just go for it. The resemblance is hard to tell. It can be your copy or the donor but you will become a mother. That's the thing you should focus on. Yes you are right but Ic ant live like this as main focus is becoming a mother and at least this way if it did work I would have 9 months to connect as I would be carrying the baby. xxx
Hi Anonmous! How are you? I am so sorry for your bad egg retrieval. I know this must be heartbreaking news for you. But you need to understand that you have to do anything to make it work. So don't think about the resemblance and take the chance of donor eggs. If the doctor is positive about it, then it's your way out of this struggle. I hope that the baby resembles you but i can't say for sure. Although i will pray that it works out for you. You have to do some exercise and gain back the strength you lost during this process. I just cant believe how low my AMH was from 7 which was bad anyway to 0.38, I started acupunture in april last year and I just hope that didnt mess me up. I was expecting my AMH to be bad cause of my age but not to this level. xxx
