Just wondering if anyone had any advice. For our next IVF cycle we have decided to try a natural cycle. The clinic have said they have had some really good results with couples who have unexplained fertility. Has anyone else tried this and had success or have any tips?
Thanks X x

I have tried it and I got much better embryos (I have hardly any eggs left and they are terrible quality).
Many say it is the way forward in ivf as you get better quality. Mine was called natural modified with a low dose stim - collecting between 3 and 6 eggs each time, rather than totally natural which only aims for the one egg. Personally I would be a bit concerned about the cost of ivf and only aiming for one egg xx
I did a natural FET although still took steroids and cycologest this was my 5th cycle after 2 fresh cycles resulting in mmc and 2 medicated FETs both unsuccessful. I now have a nearly 7 month old baby boy, I truly believe it was due to letting my body do as much as possible itself and less stress with injections etc x
We tried to do this at Create, but they heavily pushed us away from "natural ivf" towards "mild ivf". Looking back I feel like they wouldn't let us do "natural ivf" because my follicle count (or something like that) was too high. But maybe I'm just remembering it wrong. BFN from mild ivf.
We went for a natural modified protocol on a tiny amount of drugs for a small time. It was our 6th cycle after having lost 2 babies due to quality of the embryo. We had changed clinics and this was their recommended path. We got lucky first cycle of this and I am holding our little girl now who turned one last week. Good luck.xx
Hi, we had a 3 cycle package. The first 2 were ‘mild’ and didn’t produce anything that lasted beyond day 3 (around 6 eggs each time).
Then the final cycle was natural modified. Produced 5 eggs. One embryo was transferred day 3 and failed. The other embryos were left to grow and produced a 5AB blasto which was frozen and transferred 2 months later. My wife is now 25 weeks.
We had much better results when the drug dose was decreased.
Our case certainly was a case of quality over quantity as AFC was low to start with. Each case is different though and I hope they can find the right fit for you!
