With reference to my last post a little while ago. I think my clinic messed up resulting in me having no eggs on collection day, I either ovulated or follics over matured. Clinic eventually contacted me for a follow up, but I feel i don't have the clinical knowledge to argue my case. I was going to ask for my medical note but still don't have the confidence to say they were wrong. Is there someone who could advise if they messed up? It was self funded not through NHS.
Thanks xx

I got scanned on day 10 (Friday) and nurse said my follicles were good size and looked like I would be taking my booster for egg retrieval on Monday.
However I had a schedule to follow, due to requesting testing of embryos which meant the earliest in my plan for egg collection was Wednesday.
On Saturday they reduced my meds but some follicles were over 20 and a couple over 30. By time Wednesday came and i went in for retrieval they couldn't find any.
Maybe if i had been scanned early they would have seen how I was responding and could have reduced meds sooner or could have given me the option to stop treatment or tell us the risk of losing eggs if we continue to go through with the embryo testing timeframe.
I just don't know what to do. I feel they did wrong by us but how do I prove it .
Have you thought about contacting the HFEA for their advice? I had an issue with my clinic which resulted in me changing clinics and my new Consultant has been really helpful. I’ve also spoken to the HFEA. It’s tough though as in my experience they won’t admit they were wrong xx
