hi I have low AMH and a friend asked me why they have never given me clomid. I’ve never questioned this and now I’m curious. Has anyone got low AMH and had clomid and produced more eggs?

Thanks

Hello,

I have low AMH and tried two month of Clomid, It didn't work with me and triggered my prolactin and had to recover for three months from the side affects.

My sister tried it as well, because of it she's allergic to progesterone.

Hi thanks for your reply 🙂 I have never thought to ask and I assume there’s a reason! But wondered if anyone else had experience. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Hi Keeponrunning . Usually you need a good ovarian reserve to be able to have Clomid, as it is prescribed to regulate ovulation. You still may be able to have IVF even with a very low AMH. Good luck. Diane

I was given clomid for a more natural cycle. I have low amh too. When I was given it I had one egg. On the stronger meds I had up to three eggs.

Hi :) Hope you dont mind me messaging. I have jumped on this post found in my research. I have been given a choice of meriofert 75iu with fotimon 225iu or 75 of both with 150 of clomid. Is that something you are familiar with. Thanks x

I have previously had gonal 150-225iu and menopur 75-150iu. I am not sure whether they are similar to what you mentioned. When I did the clomid cycle I was given menopur 300iu and clomid 50mg,X3 a day.

On the clomid I had one follicle while on the others I had between 1-3 follicles in different cycles.

Hi thanks for your reply! I’ve had bemfola and Gonal f - I responded better to Gonal f but never had cloned I just wondered if it was something I needed to explore. Thank you 🙂

I have been suggested clomid but it's more to do with the 'FLARE' as I understand. I have 8 follicles but only three of my follicles responded in my last cycle...The clomid is to make more respond I gather?

Low amh here too.

Hi thanks for your reply! I’ve only ever had 5 follicles max, and at most I had three respond. There’s so much to take in and so many questions isn’t there? Did u find clinic more effective?

Hey. I haven’t actually done the clomid protocol. It involves much less Meriofert and fymadel so I think I’m going to start with the first protocol they suggested.
