Pain lower right side 2DP2DT

This is my first cycle of IVF and im super anxious. Im only 2 days post fresh transfer, and have been trying to rest as much as possible but take it easy when I have been up and around.

Ive notices this evening that ive got a pain in my lower right side, tender when i gently press down, its not there on my left.

I know if the embryo is still going strong inside it wouldn’t have implanted yet but im worried what this pain could be. I haven’t had it before. Its only there when I press down.

Has anyone had anything similar? I’m so scared its in my tube but there’s know way if knowing that yet I know x

Hi Sunshine,

I'm afraid there are a lot of mysterious aches and pains in the 2ww... And also in the early weeks of pregnancy so unless you are in continuous pain or painkillers aren't working etc you might have to wait it out and keep distracted as much as possible. You could still be tender from EC unless it was a frozen transfer? Your nurses should get back to you if you leave a message or email with your concerns. They are there to reassure you.

I havent had any pain since egg collection 5 days ago until last night .. its only incredibly tender on the one side, radiating round to my back now. I really hope its nothing.

If it's a fresh transfer it could still be tender from EC, I had pain and feeling tender during the entire 2 weeks after egg collection. Stay positive but if yo are worried go and see the doctor.

Ive called the clinic .. its radiating round to my back, feels like kidney infection or UTI. Waiting for them to get back to me. Hope this doesnt effect our chances 😕

I would say its where you've had your egg collection you can feel tender for a good week or so after and if you had more follicles on that side it would have had more intervention so more tender than the left.... hope this helps xx

Just had a call to say my other 2 embryos couldnt be frozen .. im devastated. Why is this journey so hard? 😭😭
