I have experienced a reoccuring pain in the right side of my abdomen. This started 2 days after my transfer when i stood up and it felt like a light punch which took my breath a little. I haven't felt it that severe since but a pain keeps coming and going in the same area. I phoned the clinic and they said they aren't concerned but it is still there so now im worried that something might be wrong. Is it possible the embryo has implanted in the wrong place? Can this happen with ivf? I haven't helped myself by searching on the internet.
Thanks

Hi I had pain on one side after ET and it was sharp and uncomfortable and I got bfp try not to worry as ur body has been through a lot might just be ovaries setting down
I experienced a little sharp pain in one side (can’t remember which side) when I had my successful transfer. I remember it like a slight stabbing pain. I was told it could be implantation pains and some people get them some people don’t. I think us who have fertility treatment may possibly notice them more because we’re looking out for signs rather than people who are trying naturally. Try not to worry, if the clinic’s not worried then try and relax a little. How long until test day? Focus on getting there xxx
Hi OJ-2018. Sorry to hear this. It might be that your ovary(ies) is still a bit active. Just make sure you drink plenty of water to ensure your urine is pale/straw coloured. Take some paracetamol for the pain unless you have been prescribed something else. No anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. If it continues, you must get checked out. Thinking of you. Diane
Our 4th round was successful. They only collected one egg and we have a beautiful baby daughter. I had spotting and 2 bleeds (2nd very heavy), we thought we’d lost her but all was ok. Try and stay positive, I listened to Jackie Brown ‘post embryo transfer’ on YouTube constantly. It really helped. I ate loads of avocado and put my legs up against the wall gently (for a few minutes each day) to help blood flow. Probably all a load of nonsense but it made me fell like I was doing something useful and relaxing x
Glad to hear this beautiful news 🤗 Finger crossed 🤞 I am facing more blessing today day 5 after transfer. I am a bit worried but nothing to do than waiting 🙏🏻
