Transfer cancelled

We just can’t catch a break! Lining wasn’t thick enough and our transfer was cancelled. Obviously this is for the best as we want the best environment but I’m so disappointed. Any tips for thickening up the pesky lining for future transfer?

Thank you x

Hi heifer. Oh that’s so disappointing, but you need to get the lining right before proceeding again. Foods rich in vitamin E can help. Avocados, nuts and seeds are some. Ask about selenium supplements, whether to try them. Hope all works out well next time. Diane

Thank you. My diet is very good but I will ask about selenium supplements when I see my consultant. Thank you x

Hello dear,

I was in the exact same poaition as you are 15 days ago. I cried a lot but than I came to realise it was the best option. My lining was thick but not trilaminar

I bought raspberry leaf tea, im keepining my self healthy and try to walk 45 mins daily.

I started my new cycle today..... I get my scan to see if we can proceed in around 12 days time.

I wish you good luck.... In a few days you will feel better and geared up for next month xxxxxxxxx

Hi I was having issues with my lining, my fresh cycle was cancelled and then on my frozen transfer at 12 days my lining was only 4.8 they wanted to cancel but I decided to carry on I was a medicated transfer (progynova) I had read that doing the progynova vaginally works better so they doubled my dose and and I used some vaginally and in 5 days my lining increased to 8.1. That transfer sadly ended in mc but I had a sort of mock scan this time as I have decided next time I want a natural transfer and I’ve been doing castor oil packs as it’s supposed to help with blood flow up to ovulation and on my scan my lining was 7.9 just on its own. Hope you manage to sort your lining out soon and you get your bfp. Xx

Interesting thanks so much for your response. I will look in to castor oil packs. Wishing you all the very best xx

Aww Jeezo, I'm sorry! I've tried various things. For me I usually start on a high dose of estradiol 8mg on day 2 and have a patch on changing it every second day. By day 9 I usually step up my meds to 10mg. I do try to get the blood flowing to my uterus every day by lying on the floor with my legs against the wall for 20mins. Also I'm also sure Vit E helps, I use the 800ug from superdrug as they're a bit higher. Hot water bottles, warm baths, keeping my feet warm. I did drink pomegranate juice and beetroot juice but I couldn't hack the beetroot juice....its rank so gave that up. Raspberry tea is supposed to be good, gonna try that this time. I think that's it! I dont get a big lining but so long as I get to over 7mm (which I scrape) and it's good quality they're happy for me to go ahead and start progesterone.xx

Thank you. I was also on 8mg but didn’t start the patches until day 10 as a last ditch attempt to salvage it! The problem is my blood is very responsive but my uterus is not so they can only give me so many drugs before it’s not super safe. Hopefully I’ll be on the patches from the beginning next time. I also keep my feet warm as they do get cold and I had a hot water bottle strapped to me! I haven’t taken Vit E though so I’ll def look into that. Thanks so much and good luck with yours xx

Ive actually never had my levels tested. My body just doesnt seem to respond to drugs very well....very recurring theme for me. I was on 16mg of progynova on one cycle!😮It just seems to say "that's it I've done enough". It was someone else that told me about vit e when I was struggling one time and it did seem to work so always take it now....may have been chance, who knows! To scared to not take it now!🤣 Awww hope you're ok, it's a crap feeling having your transfer cancelled....been there too! Best of luck, hope your clinic can come up with a plan forward for you!! Thanks for the well wishes....I'll be stressing about my lining soon enough too!xx
