Hi feeling quite frustrated, I am day 9p7dt and on progesterone inj. Started spotting on Monday and thought it was a good sign. Last night I’ve had my period (no way it was was implantation bleeding).

Should I be concerned? No progesterone level was done prior to my transfer? This is the second time I’ve bled while being on progesterone (first time on pessaries only).

Ive spoken to my partner and decided I need to come back home to the uk and try a private clinic.I have low ovarian reserve. If anyone has time to message me any private clinics they would strongly recommend I would be really grateful.

I’m not giving up just yet.....

Hey .. so sorry to hear this news and really frustrating indeed for you ... definitely could be progesterone levels not being high enough 😑...

Whereabouts are you based?

The CARE clinics are all over the UK and my clinic team were great ... maybe have a look online at results too as they publish these.

So glad you are still in warrior mode and are not giving up yet .. keep strong .. shout if you have any other questions ... best of luck xx

Hi Kiers thank you for your message. I’m based in Mauritius.

I’ve just been for a blood test now awaiting the results (pointless). The nurse was really apologetic but anyway I can’t do anything about it now. We will check the progesterone level and see.

Gutted even more so as it was a grade A blastocyst. Really thought we had a chance.

Thank you for your recommendation, will start doing my research this weekend.

😔

So sorry to hear about this, on my two failed rounds I bled early as well - even as early as 9dp2det.

I was told by my consultant it wasn't actually a lack of progesterone that was causing it as I was on a high dose suppository, but instead that all the other hormones that would appear in pregnancy weren't there (as the body knew it wasn't pregnant) so despite being on the progesterone it wasn't enough on its own for the body not to shed the lining.

its always worth getting your levels checked but early bleeding doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem, some bodies just behave differently

If you are 9dp 7det then thats quite a normal time to bleed if its been unsuccessful.

Heaps of luck x
