Test day tips?

I didn’t make it to test day with out last FET so dreading Wednesday! I kind of don’t want it to happen so I can live in the blissful ignorance of ‘maybe’. What did you do in test day? I had my blood test early in the morning and I’m assuming my clinic will call me later with the result. I work from home on a Wednesday so I don’t need to be in the office which is good!

No tips really, just wanted to wish you all the best. Wednesday is also my OTD.

Thank you! I’m too scared to yet although I think I can from tomorrow but not sure if that’s a good idea or not. I don’t really feel like I’ve had any symptoms so not holding my breath for a good outcome. Fingers crossed though! Hope all is well with you xx

Come on stay positive... I haven’t had any of the traditional symptoms either but I got a faint BFP from 7dpt which has progressed nicely every day. I’ve had Metallic taste, Wind, bloating and cramps.. nothing else really and those could have been from the progesterone.

You can test from tomorrow if you feel ready for the result either way. Last cycle my OTD was 12 days but this time around they have given me 14 days.. not sure why.

Anyway you’ve done so well remaining patient as the 2ww is dreadful, my fingers and toes are crossed for you x

My clinic didn’t do a blood test unless we had a BFP so On my first cycle I woke. Up at 7.30am and did the test. I looked at result by myself and it was negative. On second round of ivf I woke up at 5 am on test morning, tried to go back to sleep but failed, so did the test at 5am. My partner was awake to and I had a little moment where I refused to go in the bathroom as I was too scared to look. My husband was amazing and said ‘if it’s negative we can try again or adopt a child, we will still have our family. If it’s negative we will still have each other and I love you.’ We held hands and looked together. We couldn’t believe it was positive! I then took 3 more tests to be sure! I also didn’t have any symptoms well apart from being tired. Best of luck I hope it’s your time to xx
