Can I have a bath after EC??

Hi all

Is it okay to have a bath now after EC? I had it Friday and would love a bath to relax but I may have ET Wednesday and I don’t want to do something I’m not meant to. I’ve read through my information from the clinic and it doesn’t say anything but I just want to be sure. Thanks very much xx

No it's not a good idea for now... especially when your FET is only a couple of days away. I wasn't told anything like that specifically by the clinic but all women here said it's not recommended to take a bath from EC to the actual test day. Wish you Luck!

I have never heard that you can’t have a bath at this stage and I definitely did as that was one of the nicest things when you’re feeling so sore.

I personally would go for it now but not after transfer.

Good luck with this cycle x

I was told unfortunately no baths due to risk of infection and no hot water bottles as heat can potentially thin your lining. I know people do use them but with luke warm water as opposed to boiling. I just done as I was told lol. Good luck ❤

There is a chance of infection after egg collection. So it’s better not to have baths .

I was told no. There’s a risk of infection. Take a nice hot shower instead xx
