Blood Test Results

Wow i am genuinely shocked just had my blood test result backs and HCG is reading at 24,320!! High levels for 5-6 weeks according to the nurse.

After having a complete melt down the last couple of days following bleeding on Tuesday which included clots I was absolutely sure it was over i was researching recurrent miscarriages and planning a major blow out for the weekend.

Well it seems that for today at least "everything is looking promising" (the nurses words). Scan booked in for Tuesday morning, please, please, please let everything be ok........

i think am also around 5weeks but not had it confirmed through blood tests yet, can I ask did you book this through your GP or through the midwife?

Last time I had a BFP (ended in MC unfortunately) the nurse I spoke to through my GP wouldn’t give me a blood test.

Thanks, i am having treatment with a fertility clinic and contacted them when i started bleeding on Tuesday, they arranged for the bloods to be done with them.

I believe because of my history and the fact i was so sure i was miscarrying again they were quick to establish what was happening. I am not under a midwife yet.

I'm so sorry to hear of your previous mc it truly is the most horrendous experience and the anxiety for a new pregnancy is the worse.
