We got our letter!

Itsalongjourney26 profile image

Finally got our top of the list letter and have accepted ICSI. First appointment letter coming in the post next week and then we will have our consultation. Actually feeling positive and hubby and I are deciding whether to keep this news to ourselves... Unsure whether to tell our nearest and dearest who know we are on the waiting list, or keep ticking on in our own wee bubble and not feel like they're going through it too.

Not really sure the point of this post but just wanted to share. 🙈

Well depending on when the consultation is... I doubt it will be before my next period so I would imagine around five weeks or so! 😃

Yay such exciting news! We joined the same list on the 21st Jan and have just had a phonecall about it so won't be far behind you. We told everyone when we went through our private cycle. I knows it's not the right choice for everyone but I found it easier with people knowing xo

We went on on 11th Jan so you're not far behind!! 😃 😃 Did you find people asked you about it? I'm conscious of telling people and then getting annoyed when they ask lol.

Yeah they did ask but I only told people who I'd be comfortable telling or asking. I liked them asking, felt supported and like they cared enough to remember whats going on. But a lot of people prefer to keep it to themselves.. Its whatever feels right for you xo

Hey Hun. Brilliant news !! Great to hear !! I told my mum and best friends. But didn’t tell husbands parents until we were literally beginning it. Haven’t hardly told many people other than that. Xx
