Wait for egg donor

Hi all

Have decided to now use an egg donor after 3 failed ICSI attempts.

Has anyone else been through using an egg donor and how long did you wait for a matching donor x

We have had DE treatment. It took about 3-4 weeks to find a match at our clinic (UK). It depends on the matching criteria you choose. For us, we were more interested in reading the profiles written by the donor so chose a fairly limited number of physical characteristics to match.

Thank you, we are 1 month in and have been told at least 6 months 🙄 and have kept our profile quite open as my husband and I are complete opposites xx

They said the list was a 6-8 month wait but it was 2 months I think in the end (UK clinic). Good luck x

Sadly not yet. One failed fresh transfer a couple of weeks ago. 2 frozen embies, so waiting a couple of months before we can try again. X

I’ve received a donor through Spain. I was told 4 months, but donor was available sooner.
