Time seems to be flying at the moment and now were ready for egg collection on Tuesday! I have some extra meds in the morning to give my follicles another nudge and then in we go.
Ive had 3 x IUI in the past, but Im feeling quite nervous for the egg collection as I also suffer from Vaginismus.
Is it a bit mean not to take my other half in for egg collection? I feel like I can maybe relax more if he wasnt there, but feel guilty for thinking that because hes nothing but supportive๐

Good luck for tues! ๐๐ค when is he doing his sperm sample (if using his sperm rather than donor)? For us hubby waited outside and then produced his sample when I went down for egg collection and no one else was allowed in with you during it.Glad he's being so supportive. Will be thinking of you! ๐๐ค xx
Hey, He will do it on the morning- his fave part ๐๐ We are in at 9am and egg collection is around 10.30am. We have been told he can come in because Im not being put to sleep, but that its my choice. Thankyou so much xx
๐๐ ooo good luck!! I wasn't put to sleep either but he still wasn't allowed in. I know what you mean though. hubby came in for hycosy and was sweet and stroking my hair etc but was quite nice doing EC alone. Will be thinking of you xx
Ah fabulous, good luck to you! Ahh I see, he is allowed in as Iโm not being put to sleep but its up to me to decide. Would you have preferred your wife to be with you? X
I feel exactly the same but I donโt know why! He was in for my IUIโs and I couldnโt fully relax, he kept asking if I was okay which is lovely but I needed to concentrate ๐
My wife was the same... she was very sweet and was chatting away but I think Iโm more relaxed just focusing on what is being said by the doctors etc... and I think sometimes itโs unexplainable you just know when youโre more comfortable...x
