I'm about to have my first frozen transfer of a 5 day blastocyst and I'm struggling to figure out when the OTD will be...If it's normally 12 days post ovulation in a natural pregnancy would it be 12 days minus the 5 days (for the blastocyst) therefore OTD is 7 days post 5 day fet? Is that when most women get a beta blood test done and then another blood test 2 days later to see if it's doubled?? Just don't get why it's called 2 week wait if it's really only one week? I will ask my Dr again but for now I was hoping you'd share your timelines please

When is OTD normally after 5 day blast FET?
Hello - just replied to you on my thread, hope it helps. I’m in Leicester and my clinic tests 12 days past transfer. They do urine test and blood. Then repeat blood a week later. Varies across the country though.
On here I’ve seen lots of different timings. I had a 5 day fresh transfer on Monday and my test date is 9th August, 11 days after the transfer. Different clinics seem to have different approaches.
Good luck with your FET. xxx
Will you do a blood test or just hpt? All the best xx
They have given me a pot to pee in on the morning. I have to take it to my appointment at the clinic. xxx
11 days post transfer, not including the actual day of the transfer. My clinic only do hpts as standard but would do a single blood test if requested. Good luck xx
In my clinic 2 weeks exactly after the transfer. Had my transfer 19th July. My OTD is this fri. Mine too was 5day fet. Im in South Wales, UK. Not sure if it's true but heard frozen transfers take longer to implant?
Hey. Our clinic asks you to home test 11 days after (10 days after 5dt) so I had my transfer 20th July and my OTD is tomorrow-31st. Xx
I’m
5dp5dt (fet) and our test date is 9 days after transfer. I guess every clinic is different! Wishing you the very best of luck xxx💞
My 5 day blast FET transfer was 18th July.
They want a full 2WW so my OTD is tomorrow. My clinic requests a Beta HCG test (last time on the NHS that was another week's wait!)
Ah torture! 2 weeks is so long! Well done for getting there. Fingers crossed tomorrow brings you good news xx
Thanks for your reply. Find it difficult to feel very positive. Wishing you well on your journey Xx
They gave me a home pregnancy they don’t do blood tests at my clinic fingers crossed xx
Mine has been around 10 days and to do a home pregnancy test. Good luck xx
