Sorry it’s me again! Got my first FET tomorrow and beginning to stress out (whilst trying to remain calm!!) I know they will tell me tomorrow but when is OTD post transfer please? I know it’s a 2ww but it’s not actually 14 days post transfer is it?
Thanks lovelies and sorry for all the posts!!

I think this depends on your clinic. I’ve had to wait the full 2 weeks, but I’ve seen other ladies post that their OTD is sooner than that. I think it can also depend if they do bloods or ask you to take a pregnancy test. Bloods can be done sooner (my clinic just ask you to take a test at home and ring with the results). Sorry, not much help there 🤦🏻♀️
Good luck with the transfer tomorrow!! Everything crossed for you🤞🏼🍀xx
I know, I always thought 14 days was the norm until I saw ladies post shorter waits on here! Typical I’d end up with the longest one 🤦🏻♀️😂. I hope yours is sooner xx
Just thought, it can also depend on whether you’ve had to take a trigger shot. The hormone in the trigger shot can cause a false positive and it can take around 10 days for that to get out of your system xx
My NHS clinic always made us wait 14 days post 5 day transfer. My clinic in Athens says 12 day for urine or 9 for bloods. Good luck for transfer lovely!!xxx
No, they could do if we wanted but no day 3 transfers. Gonna have to wait until day 5 to see if transfer goes ahead. It's not sounding great. We got 8 mature eggs, 5 of which have fertilised. Hubby's sperm had deteriorated significantly from last cycles. Bless him his jaw dropped when they said he'd have to give another an hour after first. God knows what our embryos will do & if we'll even have any by Sat!😕 Its with the gods now & nothing we can do!!🙏🏻🤞🏻😣xxx
I’m keeping absolutely everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞. Here’s hoping you get positive news on Saturday. Come on little embryos!! It’s just a never ending set of hurdles! Big hugs and thinking of you xxx
No truer word said! I knew this would be a gamble but not as much as this!! Let us/me know how you get on tomorrow! Really hoping this is your time!!xxx
Hi, I had my collection today and saw a poster that says 3 different lengths depending on the type of process - IVF, Icsi and another. I think ICSI (which I'm on) was 14 days but I was coming round from general so not completely sure. We're with the NHS so think it is different for all clinics etc from what I've read.
Oh right I didn’t realise it was different for different processes! So many variables!! Thanks so much and hope the egg collection/ fertilisation etc goes well for you xx
All the best for tomorrow 💖💐💐💐🙏🏻🙏🏻💐💐 my clinic have asked me to test 13 days after with 5 day blasto transfer . Hope you get a good sleep and are calm and in a relaxed mood for the transfer 😘💖🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💐
Ps I was also ICSI and FET so maybe it’s 13 for that 🤷🏼♀️
Hi hifer. My transfer is also tomorrow afternoon 😊🤞🤲💕 It’s so difficult to stay calm. So my protocol says 14 days after ‘egg collection’. So I’m expecting they will tell me to do a home test on Saturday the 8th of Feb. Last time I did a natural cycle FET, this time it’s medicated but they are doing everything more or less the same after the scan to say my lining was ready. I hope this helps. All the best for tomorrow x
Ahh loads of luck to you too 🤞🤞. Will be thinking of you. My last egg collection was in July last year so I hope they don’t tell me that 😂😂. Let’s hope for a speedy 2ww however long that wait turns out to be! Xx
Thanks 😊 lol yeah my original egg collection was also in July but had 2x failed transfers! So trying my best to stay positive. Let’s hope third time lucky! Good night xx
