Double trigger?

Hi ladies

I'm triggering at 12.30am but was curious to see that I have to use 2 x 250 pens.

I've looked around and pretty much everyone else seems to just use the one.

Have any of you used 2?

I've done a little bit of research and it seems it is something that is being researched at the moment to investigate whether it benefits immature oocytes. Last cycle I did get 8 mature of 10 eggs so don't think it's a huge problem for me.

I trust my clinic in Greece completely so am not worried - just curious.

Hello sparkle

I had 2 injections aswell. I asked my clinic why 2 injections. I was told it was to do with the dosage as i needed 10000 units and each trigger has 5000.. So i think it's the dosage in each injection.

I had 5 eggs collected 3 fertilised had day 5 blastocysts

Today they transferred all 3 as I'm 45 years old. Really scared but followed the advice of the embryologist.

Amazing!!! I'm in Greece and they will do four if I manage to make that many. Seems very rare to have multiples past 40 so think we're good. I'm 43. To have 3 Day 5 blastocysts is phenomenal! You must be overjoyed. How many cycles have you had? This is my second. First was a complete disaster with a really nasty, corrupt clinic in Bangkok, cost a small fortune and ripped me off. Love my new place in Greece xx

Hello Sparkle,

2nd icsi cycle, im 45 years old.. I had 5 eggs collected. 3 fertilised out of the 5. And they all made it to day 5 blastocysts . They decided to put all 3 back just to give me maximum chance. Im really scared of multiple pregnancy.

Just hoping for the best.

Happily it was. 1 in the oven due any day now and 3 in the freezer xxx

Mine was two shots but only one syringe so had to suck up two ampoules into one syringe rather than doing two separate x

I had 2 injections, just to make up the full dose I needed. I had a positive pregnancy test 11 days ago, so still very early days....
