Well I cant quite believe it. And I have never ever been so tired in my life! Finally it is our turn! No name yet but we are so proud, relieved and feel blessed that our little rainbow "chunky monkey" arrived by c section (after 4 days of different ways to be induced) yesterday morning.
10lb and 1 oz, 2 weeks overdue and he has a huge appetite but latched on straight away.
Some of you will remember me from before. Once we got our bfp, I moved to the other group as I known how hard it is to see all the positive posts when you are still struggling. I had to read them myself. Still, I also found it very supportive and encouraging when people came back to post their longed for dreams as success.
After 7 years, 6 rounds of ivf and 1 miscarriage, I have been through so much to get to this point. I (mostly) believed that our dream would come true one day and here we finally are.
Thank you to all on here for the support you have given to me and continue to give patiently to others. And a very special shout out to DianeArnold who somehow manages to keep us all sane!
Big hugs to you all and I wish every single one of you the very best and at least one bouncing bundle of joy.
So so happy for you, I bet you’re tired after all those different induction attempts but imagine at the same time you don’t even care as you have your special little boy on your arms. I’m ok. Pretty sure this round hasn’t worked so all PMA gone and wishing it over so I can drink wine and then refocus on round four! Thank you for all the advice you have given me over the last year or so. Hope you manage to get some sleep and enjoy motherhood. Keep us updated how you are getting on and when you have a name xx

I was looking forward to your announcement that baby had arrived as knew it must be imminent. Glad he has arrived safely and at over 10 pounds he definitely is a chunky monkey!! Lots of people did. Even we thought a boy, but it was so lovely to have the surprise and mikey to give the news. He has only really cried with happiness twice that I have known about- the day we got married and the moment our wee one was born and we heard his wee cry x

Bloody hell you did end with a ten pounder 😳 you are a trouper! My daughter was 8lbs 14oz she was 4 days over due, my son only weighed 6lbs 6oz at 39 weeks plus 1 day!!!
Your little boy is absolutely gorgeous what beautiful set of hair he has & so peachy coloured 😍 such s beautiful picture of you all ❤️💙
The good thing about having a bigger sized baby is they tend to be better at feeding & latching apparently the midwife said the bigger baby’s are more advanced ! Whereas it took my son a few weeks to get the hang of breast feeding, it wasn’t easy. My daughter got the hang of it instantly & is already going through the night at 6 weeks from 9pm - 5am health visitor was amazed! I’m sure that’s down to being bigger sized. 👍
It is so good to have the happy endings here it gives others hope when things feel bleak, such a difficult journey we can all agree on that but yeah it’s good to be thoughtful of other people’s feelings.
Enjoy every moment with your precious baby, rest when you can your body has been through a lot. If I can give a bit of advice try to sleep whenever baby is having a nap in the day, also limit visits/ visitors everyone loves to see a baby & it’s lovely for you to show your baby especially after such a journey but try not to have too many visits it’s tiring looking after a baby you need to rest not have to entertain other people. We were quite strict on this you need time as a family to “gel” we didn’t want lots of people over only close family in his 2 weeks off i didn’t think wasn’t fair as I felt it his time to have & bond with his daughter. It’s easier for us women as we’ve spent 9 months bonding.Do whatever is right for you all. Such a precious time for you 3 💙xoxo

Great words of advice, thank you. We just had our first night st home. I know we will figure everything out. I am already doing a parenting style I said we wouldn't do ha ha. But, night one is ok right ha ha x

Hi massive congratulations, I had my cycle more or less the same time as you and gave birth to a little boy 8lbs6oz on the 6th of July. Can I ask what the other group is that you moved too rather than this one when you were pregnant, as I know how sensitive this group is, but it saved my sanity before & during IVF xx
