**Sensitive Post** OTD

I had my OTD yesterday and it came back positive! We are obviously over the moon but I also feel a bit numb to be honest. It’s hard to process after trying for so long and thinking we would never get here. I have been racking my brain during the 2WW trying to figure out where to get the money for another round from.

We had 2 x 5 day embryos transferred last week. One was the equivalent of a 4BB and the other was a lesser grade, which I don’t have. Our clinic uses a different grading system.

I had no absolutely no symptoms initially post transfer despite symptom watching every tiny thing. I noticed some waves of nausea on D4PT that I put down to the progesterone pessaries. I had absolutely no cramps, no twinges, no implantation bleed. My boobs only began to get a bit sore D9PT and they still were not as painful as they were during stims.

I’m D11PT today and I have a lot of bloating and pressure type sensation in lower abdomen. Oh, and also a rip roaring dose of thrush 🦅 so I will switch pessaries from PV to PR and hope the clinic give me the go ahead for a canesten pessary.

I hope this post will be useful to anyone going through the 2WW. Next step for us is a 7 week scan in 3 weeks time. Hopefully all will be well.

Thank you so much to everyone here for all the kind words and support. ✨

Omg Nina. That is such great news!💜 Really wishing you well for the scan. I am really no symptoms at the moment. So good to hear that it is possible not to feel symptoms.

Congratulations! Amazing news.

Can I ask, you said your clinic grade different, what grading system do they use? My clinic also grade differently so it’s hard to compare to the letter followed by 2 number grading.

The didn’t specify which grading system they use. I was just told that they just grade as good, fair and poor and that I shouldn’t get too fixated on numbers (😅 ) Easier said than done. Wishing you the very best of luck.

Thank you all for the lovely messages. It is hard to digest and I think I won’t fully believe there’s anything happening until I see a heartbeat. I’m having some waves of nausea and a bit of loss of appetite, sore boobs but again nothing that couldn’t be put down to the progesterone. My good friend has just had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks so I am devastated for her and also so afraid to get my own hopes up after dealing with infertility/sub-fertility for so long.

I’m hoping everyone is doing ok on their journeys. Lots of love to all. Thank you for being a wonderful and supportive group.
