It needs to be done through a fertility clinic. Your GP doesnt have actually access to this.x

I had one privately through fertility centre. Cost around £50. Didn’t get it until 2 years into treatment and after failed clomid etc. Turns out if we had done this test first off we wouldn’t have wasted those two years as my level was very very low. If you are under a fertility clinic ask them, if not discuss a referral with your GP. Good luck 🤞

Has GP said why they won't do it? The process seems to be different where I live as we have to have it done via GP before they'll refer us to fertility clinic as it has to be above a certain level to have NHS IVF. X

Hey Pumpkins, when I was referred to a fertility clinic I first went to the one at a hospital near me and the gyne I saw said they don't do that test. They didn't even do IVF at that clinic. When I got referred to a proper fertility clinic with the view to do IVF they did the test. I think it is most useful as a test in determining the drug protocol you would be on...X
